• About Us

    • The Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering was established in 2010 with the aim of producing qualified professionals to face the challenges in emerging areas of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering. This is an advanced branch of engineering in which students are trained to handle any situation associated with instrumentation and is widely developing to involve day to day life activities. The department has well-experienced and highly-motivated faculty members who are expertise in fields like Instrumentation ,Control Engineering, Embedded Systems, Applied Electronics, VLSI Design, Power electronics and Drives, Medical electronics etc., Most of faculty members of the department are involved in research work in emerging areas which is the major strength of the department. Practical knowledge being the most vital part of education, the department trains the students in the well-equipped laboratories. Apart from central library, the department library has huge collection of Textbooks, Reference books, magazines, journals of various subjects which supports and encourages students as well as faculty members.

Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs)

PEO1: Graduates will be able to comprehend mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, laboratory and work-based experiences to formulate and solve the problems in the domain of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering and will gain proficiency in Computer aided engineering and in the use of computational tools.
PEO2: Graduates will be equipped to communicate and work effectively on the multidisciplinary engineering projects with a good awareness of ethics of their profession.
PEO3: Graduates will recognize the importance of independent learning and engage in it to become experts either as an entrepreneur or an employee so as to widen their knowledge in the field.

Programme Outcomes (POs)

At the end of the programme the students will have

A. An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering principles to solve the problems related to Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering.
B. An ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data.
C. An ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice.
D. An ability to design a system, component, or process to meet desired goals in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering considering social, environmental and ethical aspects.
